What we're about
Calling all Community advocates, Veterans, Active Duty Military(transitioning Vets). We are coming together to help support the ending of Veteran homelessness and reducing the number of Veteran suicides by help all homeless individuals and families, then if its a Veteran we help to expedite the resources needed to get into housing.
Our homeless, suicidal and hurting Veterans need your help and support in many ways and the only way to help them is to support the community and system that is trying to support them.
Help us volunteer at local homeless agencies to support outreach workers, social workers and case managers in there efforts to end homelessness and especially Veteran homelessness.
Chesapeake Homeless Parking Lot Ministry
Providing breakfast, snacks, toiletries, resources and motivation to live another day to our Car Bound Homeless Angels. Usually there are 20 to 25 people sleeping in there cars throughout the week in this parking lot. Over the past 4yrs several churches and organizations have been providing them with breakfast sandwiches, snacks, toiletries, community resources, devotionals, gas cards and prayers.
This is your opportunity to help make a difference in their lives. If you are able bring any of the above or below items that we put in the blessing bags.
